Colm Flynn explores the Irish emigrant experience as he Skypes with young men and women dotted all over the globe as they prepare to make the journey home for Christmas.

We hear their stories of moving abroad, from the struggles and heartache of leaving loved ones behind to the excitement and adventure of life in a new country.

Colm will also talk to the parents of some of these emigrants about the feeling that’s left when they do go abroad and what having them home for Christmas means.
